Technical Service Representative – Wood Coatings

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Service Representative to provide expert technical services throughout their designated state/s. The ideal candidate will have a background in coatings and knowledge of the industrial wood coatings market, and a proven ability to support clients with tailored technical solutions.

Based in Florida, Pacific Northwest or Texas
Willingness to travel across their designated state/s as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clear, on-site instructions to clients and staff regarding coating application, working closely with client representatives to ensure the coating meets specifications and customer expectations.
Independently conduct inspections on assigned projects, adhering to the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and established procedures to confirm that the product is applied according to specifications.
Prepare detailed reports by compiling inspection data to document that all specification and inspection criteria have been satisfied.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a TS or advisory role, preferably within the industrial wood coatings or related industry.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client support skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong analytical abilities with a focus on practical, solution-oriented results.
