Position Overview: On behalf of our client, we are seeking an ambitious, autonomous, and results-driven Technical Account Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong background in wastewater treatment, specifically in the use of coagulants and flocculants. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to driving client success through technical excellence and strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique wastewater treatment needs and providing bespoke solutions.
Technical Expertise: Provide comprehensive knowledge and guidance on the selection and application of coagulants and flocculants to optimise wastewater treatment processes.
Solution Development: Analyse client requirements and design tailored treatment programmes that enhance operational efficiency and compliance with environmental regulations.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the wastewater sector, contributing to the growth and expansion of the client’s customer base.
Training and Support: Provide technical training and support to clients and internal teams, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of treatment processes and product applications.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in wastewater treatment, with a proven track record in the application of coagulants and flocculants.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, including coagulation and flocculation chemistries, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimise these processes.
Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage accounts, develop new business, and achieve sales targets within the wastewater industry.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
Autonomy: Self-motivated and capable of working independently, managing multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
Ambition: A proactive approach with a strong desire to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
Travel: Willingness to travel within Ontario to meet with clients and oversee project implementations.
