Novaris Search is partnered with a growing manufacturer in the personal care / beauty / OTC space that is looking to appoint a Senior Director of Quality to lead quality strategy across multiple sites.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a proven quality professional who can bring structure, raise standards, and build a high-performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Overview

The Senior Director of Quality will hold multi-site responsibility and lead the overall quality function across the organisation. This person will be responsible for driving quality standards, strengthening systems and processes, and building out a strong quality team capable of supporting both current operations and future growth.

The successful candidate will be a visible leader who can operate strategically while also remaining close enough to the detail to improve execution across site-level quality activities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the quality function across multiple manufacturing sites
Develop and implement the overall quality strategy in line with business goals
Build, mentor, and strengthen the quality team across the organisation
Standardise quality systems, processes, and expectations across sites
Drive a strong culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure consistent standards
Partner with operations, technical, and leadership teams to improve quality performance
Support site readiness for customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal reviews
Identify quality risks, implement corrective actions, and improve overall performance metrics
Ensure the business maintains high standards across manufacturing, documentation, and product quality

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in a senior quality leadership role within manufacturing
Multi-site quality leadership experience is strongly preferred
Background in personal care, cosmetics, beauty, OTC, pharmaceuticals, or a related regulated manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of quality systems, compliance, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement
Experience building, developing, and leading quality teams
Able to operate both strategically and hands-on where needed
Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business
