Novaris Search are retained with a high-growth, international fragrance house in their search for a Perfumer. This unique opportunity provides the chance to work closely with customers and take the lead on a variety of cross-category creative projects. Role Overview: As a Cross-Category Perfumer, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing fragrance solutions for new and reformulated products. You’ll collaborate closely with both commercial teams and customers, shaping commercially successful fragrances across diverse applications. Supported by robust in-house analytical and creative resources, you’ll engage in the entire development process developing innovation solutions that meet performance, quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Work daily on customer fragrance briefs across categories, delivering innovative and cost-effective fragrance solutions
Develop and test fragrances for multiple applications, supporting both new developments and reformulations
Collaborate cross-functionally with global and regional teams, as well as commercial and customer contacts, to ensure project success.
Participate in palette management and raw material quality control
Contribute proactively to concept development

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as a perfumer/junior perfumer
Ideally relevant education e.g. from ISIPCA
Ability to take control of your own projects
Cross-category experience and ability to work on a variety of briefs
Pragmatic, creative and proactive
