Novaris is currently partnered with a globally national logistics and supply chain organisation in the search for a Operations Manager to lead their expansion across the East-Coast of the USA.

Our client is a leader in global logistics and transportation, offering a range of services worldwide.

Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, budgeting, and execution of all operational and logistical activities. Ensures that these functions are carried out efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with established corporate and client procedures, standards, and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, oversee, and manage all facets of the operation to deliver the highest quality of service at the most cost-effective rate.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets while overseeing inventory control
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the financial health of the site.
  • Develop and enforce plans to improve productivity, safety standards, quality, cost management, and employee morale.

Requirements for this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 year’s experience carrying out operations management in the logistics and supply chain industry
  • Experience across all areas of freight forwarding
  • Experience operating across the whole of the US
