Novaris Search has partnered with a leading manufacturer of water treatment systems specializing in tailored solutions for clients in the industrial, municipal, and ultrapure industries. Our client is looking for an Electrical Manager in Minnesota to oversee both the Controls Engineering and Electrical Engineering Departments. This role focuses on maintaining quality standards, implementing process improvements, and providing guidance within these departments. The Electrical Manager will also act as a liaison between the engineering teams and the Electrical Assembly department.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure quality control for Automation and Electrical Engineering.
• Maintain a presence in the shop for production support and coordination.
• Review bids and specifications from clients.
• Create and finalize bills of materials (BOMs) for projects.
• Modify electrical drawings and control panel layouts for water systems.
• Design and assist with automation systems specific to water treatment.
• Develop custom programs tailored to client needs.
• Program and test automated machinery for water treatment.
• Ensure UL compliance and collaborate with inspectors.
• Train new employees and share industry expertise.
• Provide engineering support and resolve technical issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in water treatment.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience or training.
• Strong knowledge of UL compliance.
• Ability to pass the UL508A MTR exam for UL certification.
• Proficiency in internet software, Excel, Word, and Adobe.
• Capability to design, read, and understand technical drawings.
• Ability to analyze and interpret business information, technical procedures, and regulations.
• Skill in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
