Director of Laboratory Operations – Dietary Supplements

Novaris Search are exclusively partnered with a rapidly growing high-tech dietary supplement manufacturer in Utah, seeking to onboard an experienced Director of Lab Operations to drive compliance, quality, and safety while inspiring a team to achieve excellence in testing accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all laboratory operations, implementing policies and procedures
Oversee laboratory budget and resources, including staffing and equipment
Ensure adherence to quality standards & relevant regulations (e.g., CLIA)
Participate in proficiency testing programs and ensure accurate test results
Hire and train new staff
Keep leadership informed on the latest advances in laboratory science and technologies

Key Requirements:

Bachelors degree required, Master’s or doctorate preferred
At least 3-5 years in dietary supplements or food laboratory
Ideally with ISO 17025 experience
Strong organisational, interpersonal and management skills
