Director of Business Development – Automotive

USA

Novaris Search are partnered with a globally recognised logistics and supply chain company, who are seeking for a Business Development Manager in an individual contributor role. The ideal candidate must have experience in the automotive vertical, as well as selling across all modes of transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans within the automotive vertical
  • Drive sales of time-critical and chartered services to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Experience liaising with Tier 1’s, Tier 2’s and OEM’s
  • Identify and engage potential clients, building strong relationships within the industry
  • Promote and sell air and ocean freight services to optimize client supply chains
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development within the automotive sectors
  • Strong background in selling time-critical/chartered services
  • Familiarity with air and ocean freight logistics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
