Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to drive sales of their rental pump solutions within the mining sector. In this role, you will work directly with customers to understand their operational requirements, provide customized equipment solutions, and offer ongoing support throughout the rental process.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the mining industry, identifying their specific needs and recommending suitable rental pump solutions
Generate and qualify leads, conduct on-site assessments, and prepare proposals aligned with client specifications
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, timely delivery, and high-quality service
Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to ensure a competitive edge
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales within the mining industry, preferably with a focus on equipment rentals or related technical products
Strong understanding of the mining operations in British Columbia and the unique needs of the industry
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical sales role
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and travel as required throughout the province
