Director of Business Development – Full Service CRO

Novaris Search are working with a global, full-service CRO who provide to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries across phase I-IV clinical trials.

Our client is seeking a Director of Business Development to join their West Coast team. This role will be responsible for driving sales across their full service offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Expanding existing client accounts and maintain a positive relationship.
  • Contribute to the overall success and enhancement of the companies business development approach.
  • Define client and vertical targets, minimize costs of sales, increase efficiency
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Lead generation.
  • Opportunity qualification and assessment.
  • Developing new client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with a global CRO and selling full service CRO services.
  • 5+ years sales and account management experience.
  • Have a strong network of decision makers in life science and CRO industry.
  • Experience selling to and building relationships with senior leadership team.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • BA or MBA.
