Technical Service Representative – Wood Coatings

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Service Representative to provide expert technical services throughout their designated state/s. The ideal candidate will have a background in coatings and knowledge of the industrial wood coatings market, and a proven ability to support clients with tailored technical solutions.

  • Based in Florida, Pacific Northwest or Texas
  • Willingness to travel across their designated state/s as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear, on-site instructions to clients and staff regarding coating application, working closely with client representatives to ensure the coating meets specifications and customer expectations.
  • Independently conduct inspections on assigned projects, adhering to the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and established procedures to confirm that the product is applied according to specifications.
  • Prepare detailed reports by compiling inspection data to document that all specification and inspection criteria have been satisfied.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a TS or advisory role, preferably within the industrial wood coatings or related industry.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client support skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on practical, solution-oriented results.
