We are excitingly partnered with a state-of-the-art NSF certified dietary supplement contract manufacturer in Mountain West US, seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director with a true hunter mentality. This remote-based role is for a motivated professional with an impressive track record gaining & nurturing client relationships in the B2B Health & Wellness space.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive B2B sales strategy tailored to specific channels, ensuring alignment with revenue and market share objectives.
Market Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics to adapt and refine sales initiatives effectively.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with marketing, finance, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless organizational alignment and mutual support.
Business Expansion: Identify white space business opportunities and partnerships that enhance market share and drive revenue growth.
Requirements:
+8 years in the B2B dietary supplement manufacturing space, with a proven sales track record – ideally in capsules, powders, liquids
Demonstrated ability to grow substantial books of business while maintaining existing client relationships.
Proactive & willingness to travel for tradeshows and client meetings
Ideally with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Nutrition, or a related field; MBA preferred
Extensive knowledge of CRM, strategic long-term planning and nutraceutical product development
Strong passion for gaining new business, and clear enthusiasm for the health & wellness space
