Director of Laboratory Operations – Dietary Supplements

Utah, US

Novaris Search are exclusively partnered with a rapidly growing high-tech dietary supplement manufacturer in Utah, seeking to onboard an experienced Director of Lab Operations to drive compliance, quality, and safety while inspiring a team to achieve excellence in testing accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all laboratory operations, implementing policies and procedures
  • Oversee laboratory budget and resources, including staffing and equipment
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards & relevant regulations (e.g., CLIA)
  • Participate in proficiency testing programs and ensure accurate test results
  • Hire and train new staff
  • Keep leadership informed on the latest advances in laboratory science and technologies

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required, Master’s or doctorate preferred
  • At least 3-5 years in dietary supplements or food laboratory
  • Ideally with ISO 17025 experience
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal and management skills
