Novaris Search have partnered with a globally recognised Freight Forwarding company, in the search for a Global Business Development Manager, based in Germany. The ideal candidate will have past experience in selling Air freight and Ocean freight into the Automotive vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive vertical.
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth in air freight and ocean freight.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients in the industry.
Conduct market research to identify trends, challenges, and competitive landscape in logistics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients and partners.
Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports on sales activities and outcomes
Experience Needed:
Proven track record in business development, particularly in a hunting capacity.
Strong experience within the automotive sector, with a solid understanding of industry dynamics.
Knowledge of air freight and ocean freight processes and logistics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
