Role:

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be a key player in orchestrating the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness and will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other essential supplies for the manufacturing processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency of the supply chain, from procurement to distribution.
2. Supplier Collaboration: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials, packaging, and other essential components.
3. Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales and production teams to accurately forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory levels while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
4. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and implement strategies to optimize stock turns and reduce holding costs.
5. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate transportation, shipping, and distribution activities to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
7. Risk Management: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.
2. Proven experience in supply chain management within the personal care or cosmetics industry.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
5. Proficient in using supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to personal care products.
7. Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide a team in a fast-paced environment.
