Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Leader to spearhead business growth in the Western U.S. This role is crucial for expanding the territory and securing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales, particularly within the water treatment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Expansion: Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand the company’s presence in the Western U.S., targeting new markets and industries.
  • New Business Development: Identify, engage, and secure new customers, driving sales of water treatment chemistries to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and positioning our client’s solutions as the best fit.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, adapting sales tactics accordingly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and product teams to tailor solutions that meet customer requirements and exceed their expectations.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Success: Demonstrated success in territory expansion and new business development, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of water treatment chemistries and their applications in various industries.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
