Position Overview: My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director ideally based in the Southeast to lead sales efforts. The perfect candidate will have a strong background in the food service packaging industry, a proven track record of driving sales growth, and exceptional leadership skills. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in the Southeast US.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to drive performance and exceed sales goals.
Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously improve sales strategies and product offerings.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the food service packaging industry,
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel 50%.
