Sales Representative

Northeast US

Novaris Search is currently partnered with an expanding and innovative packaging company who are actively seeking a Sales Representative based in the Northeast US.

The Sales Representative is responsible for the prospecting and development of new and existing customer accounts. This individual will work with internal departments, including, but not limited to, marketing, estimating and customer service to ensure a favorable customer experience. This individual will be required to travel extensively to customer sites, to ensure relationships are built and maintained.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Sell and promote company products, which includes pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, and RFID markets.
  • Use established network to generate leads and develop relationships with new/existing customers.
  • Research and educate new prospects on the company’s label and packaging solutions, and Brand Custodian philosophy.
  • Maintain accurate files and records related to sales accounts, including, annual action plan for each customer account, revenue/budget forecasts, and project and pipeline customer information to be reported monthly to the executive team.
  • Maintain, and act as a brand custodian for existing customers to ensure continued business.
  • Work with the internal marketing team on presentations, materials, and samples, and attend trade shows as required or when deemed beneficial.
  • Effectively work with different departments, ex. customer service, estimating, marketing, production, regarding various customer matters, as needed.
  • Participate in monthly sales meetings and other training programs.
  • Submit timely expense reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5) or more years of related sales experience, preferably with pressure sensitive labels or flexible packaging.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of professions and personalities.
  • Proficient using standard business systems, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to effectively read, write and speak English.
  • Self-motivated, creative, innovative, persistent, and flexible.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to decipher colors a plus.
  • Valid driver’s licenseability to travel/fly without issue.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing.
