Novaris Search is currently partnered with an expanding and innovative packaging company who are actively seeking a Plant Manager for their facility in El Paso, Texas.

Position Overview: As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the business and contribute to growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the plant team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control, to meet customer requirements and production targets.
• Implement and maintain best practices in manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to support business objectives, identify opportunities for growth, and drive operational excellence.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and senior management, to achieve organizational goals.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress, analyze data, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous learning, providing training and development opportunities for plant employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management or operations leadership roles within the packaging industry, preferably in flexible packaging.
• Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence, implementing process improvements, and achieving results in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build effective relationships, and drive organizational change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and manufacturing best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems; experience with production planning software is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Located or open to relocate to El Paso.
• Full professional proficiency in Spanish
