Position Overview:
As the primary contact between our client and potential customers, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of innovative irrigation equipment within the agriculture sector in Florida. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in the local market, possess a proven track record in selling irrigation solutions, and excel at building and nurturing strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed regional sales targets on behalf of our client.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with our client’s marketing team to implement effective promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Provide product demonstrations and training sessions for clients to showcase the benefits and functionalities of our client’s irrigation equipment.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, keeping both our client and our agency informed of progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the irrigation equipment industry, with a focus on agriculture.
- Strong understanding of Florida’s agricultural landscape and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region.
