Novaris is currently working with a leading ingredients manufacturer & supplier. Our client is renowned within the space and they are looking for a product manager for their cosmetic ingredients unit.  Candidates will have a background in active ingredients.

Role

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our cosmetic ingredients, from concept development to commercialization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy, identify market opportunities, and ensure the successful launch and promotion of our products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for the cosmetic ingredients portfolio, aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the cosmetic industry.
  • Collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to drive product development initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Define product specifications, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans for new and existing products.
  • Lead product launches and promotional activities, including the development of marketing collateral, sales tools, and training materials.
  • Monitor product performance and market feedback, and implement strategies to optimize product positioning and maximize sales growth.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to cosmetic ingredients, ensuring compliance and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Proven track record of 5+ years in product management, preferably in the cosmetic ingredients or related industry.

Deep understanding of cosmetic formulation, ingredient functionality, and regulatory requirements.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product plans.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Passion for innovation, sustainability, and driving positive change in the cosmetic industry.
