Director of Sales – Water Technologies

Remote (West Coast USA)

An industry leader in water technologies is seeking a talented Director of Sales to join their dynamic team remotely on the West Coast.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets for water technology products.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement revenue cycle strategies, goals, and initiatives aligned with the organization’s overall objectives.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, establish relationships with key decision-makers, and close high-value deals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to drive product enhancements, market positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive insights to inform sales strategies and product development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position our water technology solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience selling water technology solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present ideas and influence key stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of water technologies, industry trends, and customer needs.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage a geographically dispersed team.
  • Availability to travel occasionally as required.
