Account Manager – Water Treatment

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager to join their team in the Midwest U.S. This role is responsible for managing and nurturing existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a strong customer base. The successful candidate will have the ability to build relationships and provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers, managing a portfolio of accounts across the Midwest U.S.
  • Customer Retention: Develop and implement strategies to maintain and enhance customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Growth: Identify opportunities to expand product and service offerings within existing accounts, driving incremental sales and revenue growth.
  • Technical Support: Collaborate with the technical team to provide customers with product knowledge, troubleshooting, and application support.
  • Reporting: Monitor account performance, prepare regular reports, and provide feedback to internal teams to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Customer Engagement: Regularly communicate with customers through phone calls, emails, and in-person visits to address their needs and concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of account management or sales experience, preferably in the water treatment industry or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with water treatment products and services is highly desirable.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the Midwest U.S. to visit customers as needed.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
